The association is a merge of producers, service providers and users of all sectors. Through a cooperation “at eye level”, the association focusses its added values of the Industry 4.0 on the implementation.
Target of the Industry Business Network 4.0 is harnessing the potentials of a linked manufacturing. Based on the identified added value fields “Work and resource management”, “Energy efficiency”, “Maintenance”, “Quality assurance “, “Work protection” and “Supply Chain”, members contribute their expertise in the working groups, whose activities are supported and coordinated by the association. IT-Informatik is a practice-oriented partner of the association and supports by implementing projects, such as recording and editing machine data or developing mobile applications for the production management.
Among the essential characteristics of Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation is that all process participants of the industrial value chain are always highly interconnected – in the company as well as beyond its borders: people, machines, products and IT systems. IT products, productions and business overlap and this way allow the design of process chains, taking into account clients and suppliers. This integration reflects in the business sectors of IT-Informatik.
